No, for a standard consultation no referral is necessary – simply call us and make an appointment. However, for DVA Gold Card, WorkCover, TAC or Medicare (under the Chronic Disease Management Plan), you will need a referral from your GP.

Is it covered by Medicare?
Patients who are eligible for an CDM (Chronic Disease Management) plan and who have a valid referral from their GP will have their consultation bulk billed to Medicare. These visits are limited up to five consultations per calendar year. Please note a $10 service fee will be applied to all CDM consultations.
